• Wednesday, December 4, 2013 @ 5:01:58 PM (Alaska Time) - Created this page and verbally told my supervisor I would request the week of Christmas and the week of the New Year off using two days of regular leave and 4 days of leave without pay. My mom expects me to visit her during the holiday season. She wanted me to visit her over Thanksgiving and then again during the year end holiday season. I did not make it over Thanksgiving.

  I need to take some of this time as leave without pay (if I don't work) becasue I have leave requests in for seven weeks next year. I am taking 5 weeks to do a raft trip down the Grand Canyon next fall and still want to take my Cabo vacation every year as well as the New Year holiday season.

  I want to use up one of my banked timeshare weeks during one of the weeks and should search tonight. It is getting late for holiday season flight reservations but Fairbanks to Seattle should still be O.K. I also have not yet purchased tickets for the two weeks in Cabo the last week of February and first week of March.
