• Sunday, May 26, 2013 @ 5:42 PM (Alaska Time) - Talked to my sister Kathy and during the conversation I said maybe I could come down for the Montgomery family reunion.

• Wednesday, May 29, 2013 @ 7:05 PM (Alaska Time) - Mom called me and said I should go to the BIG Montgomery family reunion on Friday, June 21, 2013.

• Thursday, May 30, 2013 @ 9:00 AM (Alaska Time) - Requested leave for Thursday, June 20, 2013 and Friday, June 21, 2013.
  My leave request was approved so I purchased flight tickets and made a rental car reservation.

• Friday, May 31, 2013 @ 11:25 AM (Alaska Time) - Called and made the Campbell's Resort, Lake Chelan, Chelan Washington reservations.
  I had tried to make a reservation online for three days starting Thursday, June 20, 2013 but the website said this was unavailable. I called then and was told that there were rooms for two of the three days I had requested. Friday, June 21, 2013 and Saturday, June 22, 2013 were still available but occupancy was over 70% so no discounts or deals were available. I did ask to be called if a room became available for Thursday, June 20, 2013.

• Sunday, June 2, 2013 @ 3:17 PM (Alaska Time) - Created this page. I called my sister Kathy and she said she is going to the reunion and would be happy to share the Deluxe Lake Front room at Campbell's Resort, Lake Chelan with me. During the call we talk about going to Stehekin at the other end of the lake for the day I couldn't get a room at Campbell's Resort.

  After the call I check with the two resorts at Stehekin and find rooms available. Because of the Lady of The Lake boat schedule we could not be back Friday until a bit before 3:00 PM.

  I leave a voice mail message for my sister Kathy asking her to check the events and see if we will miss main events if we go to the other end of lake Chelan the day before.

• Monday, June 3, 2013 @ 11:13 AM (Alaska Time) - Kathy texts me that she deleted the Voice Mail I left her yesterday without listening to it. I called her back and we talked on the phone. Kathy is getting like her children! She says leaving her a text with important information is better than leaving a Voice Mail. She said it was an accident that she deleted the Voice Mail message.

• Tuesday, June 4, 2013 @ 6:11 AM (Alaska Time) - Kathy texts me that she has the day off. She also has fund that the main reunion event is on Saturday. I reply that I will let her know when I make the reservations.

• Tuesday, June 4, 2013 @ 12:34 PM (Alaska Time) - I let Kathy know that I have made reservations at the North Cascades Lodge at Stehekin and made round trip reservations on the Lady of The Lake to get to Stehekin at the other side of the lake and back. I also paid a fee so her car can be parked overnight in the parking lot near the boat landing.

• Wednesday, June 5, 2013 @ 4:15 PM (Alaska Time) - The reservation for the North Cascades Lodge at Stehekin has been confirmed.

• Wednesday, June 5, 2013 @ 8:09 PM (Alaska Time) - I text Kathy and ask her to confirm that she will drive me everywhere for the June 22 reunion and I won't need a rental car.

• Wednesday, June 6, 2013 @ 4:55 PM (Alaska Time) - Kathy texts me back, says yes, and adds :)

• Monday, June 10, 2013 @ 7:08:29 PM (Alaska Time) - I don't need a rental car so I cancelled the car reservation. My sister Kathy is going to pick me up at the airport, drive me to Chelan, keep me company the whole time, drive me back to Seattle, and drive me to the airport.

  I think all is ready for this trip.
